Who this is for
Any signed-in FleetSnap account with a Turo earnings CSV imported. The Overview, Vehicles, Monthly, and Fleet P&L tabs are free. The Insights tab, where depreciation and true profit live, is a paid feature: on the free plan it shows blurred with "Insights are a paid feature" and an "Upgrade to unlock" button. Fleetsnap Pro, Fleetsnap Concierge, and paid Earnings plans see it in full.
Turo shows you revenue. FleetSnap shows you what you actually kept - after Turo's fee, after the costs you've logged, and after the value your cars lose every month. This guide walks each tab of the Turo Earnings dashboard and names every heading and column exactly as it appears, so you know where to look for depreciation, true profit, per-vehicle profit, and utilization.
The tabs
Open fleetsnap.ai/turo-earnings and sign in. Down the side you'll see Overview, Vehicles, Monthly, Fleet P&L, Statements, Costs & Income, Insights, and Settings.
- Fleet P&L answers "what did each car net after costs?"
- Insights answers "what did each car really make once depreciation is counted?"
- Vehicles answers "which cars earn the most per day, per mile, and how busy are they?"
- Monthly answers "how did the fleet do month by month?"
Where to check depreciation: Insights
Click Insights. Scroll to the table headed "True performance — profit after depreciation". Its columns are:
- Vehicle
- Net earnings - the same figure as your Fleet P&L tab. Hover the small info icon ("What does net earnings mean?") and it reads: Same net earnings as your Fleet P&L tab - fuel, cleaning, insurance, and every other cost you've logged are already deducted.
- Est. depreciation - the estimated value your car lost over the selected period.
- True profit - Net earnings minus Est. depreciation. Red means the car lost money once depreciation is counted.
Click any column header to sort. Use "Search make, model, or plate" above the table to jump to one car.
When you have a period selected, each column carries it as a suffix (for example True profit · Jan 2026). On All Time the suffix is dropped.
Depreciation needs no input from you
Est. depreciation is estimated from the vehicle's year, class, and mileage using a static curve built from public iSeeCars, Edmunds, and J.D. Power references (about ±15% by design). The annual figure is then prorated over the months the vehicle was actually active in the period - each row shows its rate and months active under the number, e.g. "15%/yr · 3 mo active". There is no purchase price or depreciation rate to enter; the estimate runs automatically from the vehicles in your CSV.
Where to see profit for each vehicle: Fleet P&L
Click Fleet P&L. The "Fleet P&L Summary" card shows three fleet-wide numbers: Net Earnings, Host Payout, and Partner Payout. If you haven't configured splits, the card notes (Configure splits for accurate Host / Partner payouts).
Below the summary, the per-vehicle table has columns Vehicle, Earnings, Costs, Net, Host, and Partner:
- Net = Earnings minus Costs, from realized revenue only (completed trips plus cancellation fees).
- Host is your share after the split you set; Partner is your co-host's share. The split itself shows as Host % in the splits editor.
- A vehicle or partner you've ended keeps its history and shows an Archived badge.
To find which car is losing money: look down the Net column for negative numbers, then confirm on Insights whether it is still negative in True profit once depreciation is added. A car can be positive on Fleet P&L and negative on Insights - that is the one to watch.
Where to see utilization: Vehicles, Monthly, and Overview
- Vehicles - the "Earnings comparison" chart ranks vehicles by total earnings from completed trips. The table beneath has Earnings, Trips, Avg/Day, $/Mile, and Util. Click Util to sort by utilization.
- Monthly - the "Monthly Breakdown" table lists Month, Earnings, Trips, Days, Util., and Avg/Day, so you can see utilization for each month.
- Overview - the dashboard header (visible on every tab) shows Total Earnings, Fleet Size, and Total Trips. The "Fleet Performance" chart on Overview plots every vehicle by utilization against $ / day; bubble size is total revenue. Switch to $ / mile when enough vehicles have odometer data (until then the toggle reads Need odometer data on more vehicles to enable).
What else is on Insights
Above the true-performance table, "What you should know this week" is an AI-written read of your fleet; each card ends with a "What to do" line. "What changed this month" compares the latest month with the one before. At the bottom, Inbox Intelligence - coming soon for Pro & Concierge is a preview, not a live feature yet.
How to use Ask AI
On any dashboard tab, click the round chat button in the bottom-right corner (its label is "Open AI chat"). The "Ask AI" panel slides in with the subtitle How-to help using FleetSnap, plus answers from your Turo earnings data.
- Type into "Ask a question..." and press Enter, or tap a starter question such as How do I import my Turo earnings CSV? Once a CSV is imported you also get fleet questions like Which vehicles are losing money?
- How-to answers come with a Go to link that opens the right screen.
- The panel shows how many queries you have left (N of M queries remaining). When you hit the limit the box reads "Query limit reached".
Ask AI appears for signed-in users once you're past the first-run wizard.
