Co-hosting & Statements

Grow the fleet without buying the cars.

FleetSnap makes running a co-host operation effortless — partner statements that just work, generated in minutes.

Set each owner’s split and cost rules once; every month builds itself, with every line traceable back to a trip or an invoice.

Owner keeps passive income. You scale without the capital.

A FleetSnap partner statement: earnings summary showing $4,290 earnings, $135 vehicle costs, $1,788 host payout and $2,367 partner payout over 71 trip days, above a per-vehicle breakdown and a mileage table.
What the owner receives — every figure traceable to a trip or an invoice.

The last weekend of every month

Fifteen owners, fifteen spreadsheets, one long Sunday.

Every owner splits differently. Some pay for their own cleaning, some do not. Insurance covers the whole fleet and has to be carved up fairly. Get one line wrong and you are refunding somebody, in public, in a group chat.

Mileage from trip odometer data. Enter values manually to override.

Fee Detail closes the statement — what each category is, the Turo column it came from, and how it was split. The owner can check every line without asking you.

A split on every line, not one on the tripTrip price, boost, delivery, extras, excess mileage, late fees, cleaning, gas, EV charging, tolls, airport fees, smoking, fines — twenty lines that can carry a split — and two, sales tax and anything Turo has not labeled, that never do.
Percentage, flat amount, or a custom figureSet a line to 70%, to a flat $15 a trip, or to an exact amount. Or mark it host-only and it never reaches the partner at all.
Itemize a line, or fold it awayAnything you do not want itemized joins one “Combined fees” row that still names what is in it — so the total reconciles either way.
Cancellation revenue, split on its own termsIt has nothing to do with a trip, so it gets its own rule. Untouched vehicles stay host-only, so sharing it is always a decision you made.
Off-Turo rentals, split separatelyPrivate and direct rentals carry their own percentage, because the deal on those is rarely the deal on Turo.
Or a flat monthly fee instead of any splitCharge $250 a month and the owner takes the earnings and the costs. Percentages switch off for that car.
Who absorbs the costs, per vehicleThe owner, 50/50, matched to the revenue split, or you. The default is the owner absorbs them — nothing is shared unless you say so.
Fleet overhead, allocated or kept outPayroll, rent, software, insurance: keep it as overhead, spread it evenly across active cars, or weight it by revenue.
Mileage, read off the tripsStart and end odometer per car per month, with the miles driven. Pulled from trip data; type over it when the trips are wrong.
Costs scoped to the car that incurred themA tire belongs to one car and one owner. Receipts attach to the line.
A fee glossary at the end of the statementWhat each category is, the Turo column it came from, and how it was split — so the owner can check it without asking you.
Arithmetic that cannot lose a pennyEvery line is allocated in whole cents and the remainder goes to you, so host plus partner plus unallocated always equals the source. The statement reconciles or it does not generate.

Who has to believe it

A statement only works if the owner accepts it.

Nobody doubts software can do arithmetic. What they doubt is whether the person receiving the statement will take it without a conversation. So here are both ends of one.

The operator

“FleetSnap has completely automated my co-host statements. The PDF exports are professional, clear, and include all the necessary deductions for maintenance and insurance. It has built immense trust with my partners and saved me at least 20 hours of admin work a month.”
Manuel G.Manuel G.CPA · All-Star Host

The vehicle owner

“The monthly statements answer any questions before I even need to ask them. They are simple, concise, and most importantly to me, transparent. Couldn’t ask for anything more.”

20+ hours a month — Manuel’s own figure for the admin time he stopped spending on this.

The question

How long did last month’s statements take you?

And what is that time actually worth — against the hours you could have spent signing the next owner? Upload one Turo statement and you will see your own splits come out the other side.
