Earnings Portal

Gross earnings won’t get you funded.

FleetSnap’s Earnings Portal shows true profit per vehicle — after platform fees, running costs and depreciation — and flags the trends worth acting on.

Turo reports gross. Gross is the number hosts screenshot, and nobody outside your business will accept it.

FleetSnap Fleet P&L Summary: total earnings $248,133 across 76 vehicles and 1,391 trips, split into vehicle costs, net earnings, host payout and partner payout, above a per-vehicle table showing earnings, costs, net, host and partner for each car.

What gross leaves out

A car earns cash and loses value at the same time.

Gross is the half Turo reports. The other half is the value the car shed doing it, and until both sit in the same sum you cannot say what a vehicle returned — or whether to buy another one like it.

What the engine does

Four things Turo’s number leaves out.

Every fee, named

A fee taxonomy that separates the take rate from protection, young-driver, delivery and the rest — so you can see which ones you actually control.

Costs, scoped properly

A tire belongs to one car. Insurance belongs to the fleet. Fleet-wide costs are allocated rather than dumped on whichever vehicle you happened to log them against.

Depreciation by mileage

Priced off the miles the car actually did, from real depreciation tables — not a flat percentage of the purchase price.

Earnings per mile

The comparison that survives across a Fiat and a Suburban. Gross dollars flatter the expensive car; per-mile does not.

Every vehicle plotted by utilization against revenue per day — which sorts a fleet into the cars to protect, the ones to reprice, and the ones to review.

What organized data is worth

A screenshot is not a track record.

Knowing your own numbers is half of it. The other half is being able to show them to somebody who does not work for you — and a Turo export is not something anybody outside your business will accept.

A lenderWants a P&L, not a platform screenshot

Financing against a fleet needs statements that separate revenue from fees from running costs, per vehicle, over time.

A vehicle ownerWants to see how their car actually did

The track record that convinces somebody to hand you their car is the one you can produce on demand, line by line.

Your accountantWants every cost with its backup attached

Costs your team uploaded through the year, scoped to the right vehicle, ready in April instead of reconstructed in April.

The question

Which of your cars lost money last month?

Most operators can name their best earner instantly and have no idea which car is the drag. Upload one Turo statement and you will have both answers before you finish reading this page.
